The season of giving is just around the corner! It’s not only a season of gift giving but also the season of acts of kindness. During the holidays, we tend to find more time for others and tend to give without a thought of getting something in return. Our family likes to share kindness all year round but we do like to give back more during the holidays. We also donate food to our local food banks. During the months of November and December, most of the supermarkets have huge boxes waiting to be filled with food. There are usually volunteers sharing lists of products that are needed, so we’ll know exactly what to shop for. Now that Sofia knows how to read, she likes to take the list and hunt down all the products on the list. I really have to take a photo of her huge smile when she takes all the goods to the food bank volunteers.
Talking about taking photos, according to estimates from InfoTrends, people will take 1.2 trillion digital photos during 2017. This is an insane amount of photos! Our family takes tons of photos during the holidays – photos with Santa, with the family, opening the presents, school performances, beautiful Christmas decorations, crafts, holiday foods and the list goes on and on. Taking more photos means that we need more storage space on our mobile device as we never want to get the dreaded ‘insufficient storage’ error.
