Our school actually tracks the children’s weight/BMI so we can see it over time. They also rate them by percentile, so parents have no excuse for not knowing where they fit in.
It really would be a good idea to put a food course in the curriculum of our schools. It certainly wouldn’t hurt and they could incorporate it into the science curriculum so as not to disturb the budget (tongue in cheek)
